Southern Tour of Savai’i

This tour covers the south coast of Savai'i - from Salelologa to Taga Village.

Your day begins early with a pick up from your hotel for your transfer to the 8am ferry. Then sit back, relax and enjoy the1 hour 15 minute ferry trip on Lady Samoa III from Mulifanua to Salelologa. Siapo, is an age old traditional art Samoans have used since the beginning of time to decorate and clothe. Siapo is a type of paper/cloth made from pounded bark. A Siapo making demonstration is a delightful experience where we take you to the fale/house of a group of local Samoan women who will run you through the process. You will see how they collect the raw product from the surrounding environment, how it is processed and then made into the final piece of fine artwork.
